How do I install it?

Is there a free plan?

Yes, permanent and with no credit card: 10,000 pageviews a month, 1 site and 1 month of data retention. It shows an "Analytics by Logly.uk" badge on tracked pages; paid plans remove it.

How are pageviews counted across several sites?

All your sites share the same monthly pageview allowance.

Where is the data stored?

In the EU.

Does it count bots?

Bots are filtered out of your visitor numbers and reported separately, labelled by type and by name (search engines, AI crawlers, SEO tools, monitors). It only sees bots that run JavaScript, so the bot report is a minimum, not a complete count. Traffic that cannot be identified is counted as a human visit.

My site uses a strict Content-Security-Policy. Will it work?

Yes, if you allow logly.uk in script-src and img-src. Without that, the browser blocks the events and the dashboard stays empty.

Can I export my data?

Yes: CSV export from the dashboard, a REST API, and an MCP server so AI assistants can query your analytics.

Is it open source or self-hostable?

No. Logly is a hosted service only. If you need to run analytics on your own servers, Matomo or Umami are better fits.
